FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What do I need to wear?

We have a Brosnan Academy uniform which can be ordered from us directly, but to get you started, just a comfy t-shirt/singlet and some shorts. Irish dancing 'soft shoes' must be worn to classes, but as you are just starting out, some comfy runners will do just fine.

What do I need to bring to my first class?

We recommend you bring a water bottle to every class as you will most definitely work up a sweat whilst dancing. But we have drinks for sale at our studio in case you forget your own.

Can I watch my child's dancing class?

All classes are closed to spectators. We recommend you drop your child off and pick them up at the end of class, or make yourself comfy in our waiting room.

Is there parking at the studio?

Unfortunately we only have two available parking spots, so parents must park on the road outside the complex, or drop off and pick up their child at the end of class.

Where can I buy Irish dancing shoes?

Please let us know if you would like to buy any Irish dancing shoes/socks/uniform etc and we can organise this for you.
